Mission Outcomes for New Hope Charities

New Hope Charities´ undertaking is to implement realistic ways of improving the mental, moral and physical condition of families living in poverty. It is the goal of New Hope to empower each individual, from early childhood to maturity, in achieving stability, self-sufficiency, and self-esteem with “new hope” for the future. In meeting this mission, New Hope Charities, Inc. works closely with other local and state agencies to maximize resources in order to meet the needs of the poor in remote, underserved communities. As shown below, we have been working diligently to meet our mission in supporting and helping the many indigent families that we serves:

• Our Food Distribution Program provides over 193 families with food each month. We have distributed over one million pounds of food, giving out 2,700 bags annually.
• Over 65 children attend our After-School Program on a daily basis.
• Our partnership with Redlands Christian M Association, over 50 infants and toddlers receive daycare services on a daily basis.
• Our weekly ESOL Program offers English classes to an average of 20 adult students each week.
• Children enrolled in our After-School Program borrow over 1,200 books each year from the Palm Beach County Bookmobile and our on-site Library.
• Approximately 7,000 student class hours are provided for homework assistance and tutoring from September to June each year.
• Seventy-six percent of the children receiving services at New Hope improved academically in 2008.
