About Us

New Hope Charities was incorporated as a 501(3)(c) charity in 1988 offering support to remote, distressed and underserved segments of society. The first program implemented by New Hope distributed food to needy families living in the Western Palm Beach County. Since then, New Hope has grown into a multi-service facility serving Pahokee, Canal Point, Belle Glade and South Bay. The New Hope Family Center has grown to include a Youth Center, an Education Center, and a Health Clinic. Additionally, the grounds have basketball courts, and a multi-use field for soccer, baseball or any outdoor recreational activities.

Our award winning and nationally accredited program challenges students using the STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) and a dedicated frontline staff. Our programmatic activities include mentoring, academic enhancement, literacy, family activities and economics. The programs we offer include; food distribution for hundreds of needy families, afterschool care for elementary school students, summer camp, and special events.

At New Hope Charities, Inc. we work closely with other agencies to in order to maximize resources and meet the needs of those we serve. Our willingness to collaborate with other providers has allowed New Hope to provide services beyond its capacity and has expanded available services. It is the goal of New Hope to empower each person, from early childhood to maturity, to achieve stability, self-sufficiency, self-esteem and hope for the future.

Our Family Center is located at 7450 State Road 15, Pahokee, FL 33476, and currently serves Western Palm Beach County communities, such as Pahokee, Canal Point, Belle Glade and South Bay. Our Administrative Office is located at 626 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
